In Motihari, a 55 year old middle-aged man raped a 10 year old girl. At present the victim is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital, where her condition remains critical. The incident took place in Kesariya police station area of Motihari. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and arrested the accused.
The incident was carried out by taking him to the hut
Regarding the incident, the victim’s mother said that her daughter had gone to play with other children at some distance from home. During this time, Vashishtha Sahni of the same village caught sight of my daughter. He seduced her and took her to a hut and raped her in the house. During this time the girl kept screaming but the beast had no mercy on her. The victim’s mother told that when the girl did not reach home several hours after the incident, the family members started searching for her. When the family members reached there while searching, they found the girl soaked in blood in the hut. The family took the girl, who was found in an unconscious state, to Sadar Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment. The family members informed the local police station about the incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police also reached the hospital and took the statement of the girl’s mother. After giving a strong statement and interrogating the local people, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused Vashishtha Sahni.
FIR lodged in women’s police station
Regarding the incident, Lady Police Station Head Kritika Kumari said that information was received that a middle-aged man had raped a ten-year-old girl in Kesariya police station area. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and with the help of Saffron Police, the accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody. The female police station head said that doctors say that the girl has received two bottles of blood transfusion so far, but she has not regained consciousness yet. Speedy trial will be conducted against the accused.
